Newly created opportunity to join this domestic commercial bank in a senior credit risk assurance role based in the Sydney CBD. Reporting to Senior Management and as part of a Group function, you will work in partnership with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally.
As the Manager of Credit Risk Assurance you will be responsible for executing risk assurance assignments with an emphasis on testing the design and adequacy of credit risk management frameworks and policies. Through interaction with senior business leaders across the bank you will work to identify effective and risk averse credit policies and guidelines with a particular focus on regulatory and reporting tasks. Whilst this role will have exposure across the Group you will have a close focus on the Institutional and Corporate lending spaces.
To be successful in this role you will have a proven background of working in a credit risk management role, ideally at the large corporate or institutional level, will have an acute knowledge of the local banking regulatory and policy environment and will be a confident and credible communicator across all levels of staff and stakeholders.
