General Job Objective

Frymaster, a member of the Manitowoc Foodservice family of companies, global leaders in commercial foodservice equipment, is seeking a dynamic and innovative Field Marketing Manager. In addition to industry-leading fryers, Frymaster manufactures/designs commercial fryer filtration equipment (built-in and portable), foodservice equipment controllers, water-bath rethermalizers and pasta cookers. A key responsibility of this position is to support the independent representative field sales organization by growing product sales by providing expert product, programs, application, technical support, and development of processes, training and programs to field personnel and directly to key customers as assigned. Reporting directly to the VP Marketing, this position is based in Shreveport, LA, 180 miles east of Dallas, TX or this person may work remotely.

Essential Job Functions

Provide product, programs, application and/or technical support on assigned product family.

Support the independent representative field sales organization as required in complex sales and large opportunities; accompany sales personnel on customer calls as required.

Support assigned key accounts and sectors, including management of product roll-out programs and coordination of culinary and technical programs.

Represent Operating Company and brands at trade shows, buying group programs, and similar events to create business opportunities.

Develop and conduct education and training programs to grow product sales.

In conjunction with the Product Management and Operations teams, participate in the development of sales brochures, web site, and advertising.

In conjunction with the Product Management Team, develop, maintain and distribute detailed competitive comparisons, sales presentations and similar to improve sales effectiveness.

Participate in development and improvement of product and dealer programs, providing first-hand, experience-based market intelligence on customer requirements, product performance, and other key factors, and providing voice of customer inputs.

Job Requirements/Working Conditions

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years customer management experience required.

Direct experience is preferred with sales in a durable capital goods company with sales through one or two step distribution channels. Foodservice equipment sales experience is preferred.

Must be willing to travel up to 80% of the normal work period domestically.

CFSP certification is required. If you do not hold this certification, you will be required to obtain it within the first nine months of employment.

Individual must be creative with strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills.
