Manager, Financial Control recruitment

Key Responsibilities:

- Taking an active role in the production of Financial Control KPI reports

- Improve reporting of monthly close status by sourcing / developing close metrics

- Assist in monthly Balance Sheet reviews of different clusters

- Assist in the resolution of any year end / quarterly reporting issues identified through reporting processes, summaries of unadjusted differences, audit points or risks identified by the Business Units and Head Financial Controller

- Perform review of risk areas which are inconsistent across business units or non compliant with IFRS

- Assist with ad-hoc projects and reporting requirements as they arise

- Assist in the production of reporting timetables, guidance and instructions

- Assist in implementing changes required to support quarterly external reporting

- Manage and develop effective relationships with Business Units, Group Finance and other key stakeholders across the Group with a view to ensuring that all objectives are met in accordance with requirements

- Liaise with key stakeholders across the business units to identify common issues, opportunities for improvements and as a central subject matter expert

- Communicate process / reporting changes and share knowledge required to successfully implement all changes

- Assist in providing business units with expert help and guidance

- Investigate and resolve problems, issues and queries, liaising with customers, suppliers and experts as appropriate

- Ensure consistency of approach across the business units

- Manage the effective balance of operations between offshore and onshore Financial Control teams

Person Specification:

- Qualified Accountant

- Strong stakeholder management across different functions of the business

-Strong communications and interpersonal skills - can operate a Relationship/Partnership approach with the Business, and build a network of contacts

- Ability to communicate confidently with senior management

- Proven track record of performance and delivery

- Problem solving ability

- Able to view issues from a commercial perspective
