Manager – Global Business Immigration Services recruitment

The Global Business Immigration Services Group provides and manages a range of business immigration services to multinational clients who send employees, and their families, to work and live in another country.

These services typically centre on the compliance and legal issues in coordinating and filing their work and visa applications, subsequent work permit/visa extensions and passport/nationality issues. The Group has a busy, client service focused environment, and team members have high levels of contact with corporate clients, assignees and Ernst Young contacts at all levels within the organisation, from different cultural and national backgrounds.

Given the nature of the service, the department's core working hours cover 8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday; however, there is an occasional requirement to work outside these hours according to clients' needs and different time zones.

Your responsibilities as a Manager - Global Business Immigration Services will include:

- Supervising the UK immigration work carried out for a defined number of clients and act as the relationship leader

- Undertaking business development activities on an ongoing basis

- Developing training programmes and conducting these at client sites

- Developing a strong network of contacts within the wider Ernst Young firm

- Organising and conducting client seminars

- Financial oversight for assigned clients and ensure billing targets are met

- Counselling and management of staff within the team.

Qualifications/skills you'll need as a Manager - Global Business Immigration Services:

- Relevant experience in Business Immigration - strong preference for professional services/consultancy background

- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

- Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritise workload

- Good communication skills

- Confidence in dealing with difficult situations

- Strong people management skills.
