The Manager, Higher Education Policy will support La Trobe University's positioning in the sector as an influential 'thought leader' on higher education policy and the contributions of higher education to wider society.
Reporting to the Director of Planning and Institutional Performance, you'll work closely with the senior leadership team including the Vice-Chancellor. You will provide proactive, accurate and considered advice on developments in national and international higher education policy and the potential implications of these developments for the university.
You must have a thorough understanding of contemporary and emerging Australian and international higher education policy issues and be experienced at analysing and interpreting this information for senior management. You'll be a highly effective communicator and will thrive working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
