Our client is a highly established global company with diverse businesses across industrial, natural resources and financial services sectors. It has a significant footprint in Asia Pacific and is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join its regional office in Singapore.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Corporate Development, you will be responsible for evaluating, structuring and executing business development activities e.g. acquisitions, joint ventures, asset or brand acquisitions; managing transactions from origination to completion. This is a high profile role working closely with top management, business unit and functional leaders. You will be be a lead contact with potential partners, target companies and external advisors. Travel is expected.
You are degree qualified with strong MA / corporate development experience, gained in multinationals, preferably with multi-business lines. You have strong Asian experience, and a track record in developing and executing transactions of varying nature and significant sizes(at least $100mil+). An MBA qualification will be advantageous. Excellent analytical, communication and influencing will be essential. Drive, energy as well as strong commercial instincts will be critical to your success.
