Gateway One Lending Finance, a subsidiary of TCF Bank, is a leading company in the indirect auto finance marketplace. We have built relationships with auto dealerships across 35 states, and counting.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the process of recruiting, hiring and training employees within your assigned region.
· Manage and review daily work flow as it applies to both new and current applications and deals in for funding for your assigned region.
· Coordinate with other departments to problem solve, escalate issues, and assist as needed.
· Clarify/communicate/train team members on changes to policy and procedures as needed (player coach).
· Ensure compliance duties are completed by all team members.
· Implement and execute sales strategies and communicate these as objectives for each team member.
· Maintain a current knowledge of all aspects of the competitive environment.
· Monitor key performance indicators against results and conduct team meetings weekly to discuss and identify areas of opportunity.
· Develop strategic plans for improved efficiencies focused on volume and yields with focus on originating quality loans for each team.

· Share best practices across sales and origination organizations.
· Identify dealer/community events to enhance brand/depth.
· Manage to volume and yield targets, identify cost efficiencies where possible.
· Manage credit risk and loan quality within your assigned region.
· Proactively create recruiting networks within your assigned region; be able to connect to top talent.
· Identify leadership opportunities/problem solve across regions.
· Be aware of and coordinate responses to all relevant competitor announcements and program changes.
· Identify opportunities/methods to create a sense of team morale in the office.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Qualified candidates must have 5 or more years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in indirect auto lending.
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to organize multiple projects, exercise good judgment, maintain a high level of confidentiality, exhibit a professional demeanor and possess a mature, executive presence.
· Travel required as needed for hiring, employee coaching, mentoring and training as well as market intelligence to identify competition differences and areas of opportunity.
