Orange Lutheran High School is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis.

SUMMARY
Manager 0f Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for planning and reporting, analysis activities, and special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the individual is required to demonstrate in-depth analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The individual should have strong accounting skills and a good understanding of GAAP.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field
• CPA or graduate degree (MS, MBA, etc.) with a focus on Finance or Accounting is preferred
• Three to five years experience in a role as Manager or Director
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in a non-profit setting a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITITES
• Well rounded understanding of financial and accounting processes
• Proven expertise in analyzing, summarizing, and communicating findings and recommendations
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Mastery of Excel and other data analysis tools
• Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software; knowledge of Sage a plus
• Ability to work independently and as a team member in a hands-on management capacity
• Ability to prioritize workloads and perform under pressure to meet guidelines
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides tuition and cost analysis to enhance profitability and improve process efficiency
• Develops and inputs budget for all revenue and non-payroll related expense accounts
• Prepares budget variance analysis for all non-payroll related line items
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Serves as the lead administrator for accounting software system
• Oversees capital expenditure budgeting and reporting
• Serves as a liaison with program managers and the I.T. department
• Oversees programs (restricted accounts) budgeting, reporting, and support
• Develops monthly and quarterly system reports using Sage accounting software
• Provides quarterly reporting and analysis
• Performs industry/peer group comparisons
• Other duties as assigned
