Manager of Graphic Design and Production

If you are a creative and proactive designer whose passion lies in developing and communicating a positive message in alignment with a strong mission, ABHM may be the perfect place for you.    Due to a recent internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced and engaging professional to join our Sales and Marketing Team as full-time Manager of Graphic Design and Production in our Home Office in Eden Prairie, MN.

Responsibilities:

The primary purpose of this position is to design, develop and produce graphic materials that promote and support the organization’s marketing policies, objectives and initiatives. Creates, develops and implements original marketing, design and social media programs.  Executes projects and associated activities within the marketing department including collateral design, print production, direct mail, newspaper advertising, radio, web site, and event materials.

 

Qualified candidates will have:

1.       Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Marketing, Communications, a related field, or equivalent

2.       Minimum of five years of multi-disciplined graphic design and marketing experience. Experience in a healthcare, or related organization, preferred

3.       Excellent creative thinking, organizational, time management and communication skills

4.       Ability to write and edit both long and short form copy

5.       Manage the graphic components and production of materials in support of marketing plans, communications plans, meeting reports, agendas, and speeches using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of English grammar and punctuation, diction and style

6.       Strong understanding of marketing communications and advertising

7.       Ability to comprehend and correctly use a variety of informational documents including occupancy reports, lead tracking, trip/service reports, copy layout and budgets

8.       Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to clearly convey concepts and meet intended goals, including public speaking and presentations

9.       Ability to use design, production and social media software, i.e. Illustrator, In-Design, Quark, Photoshop in addition to MS Office products

10.   Strong interest in interactive marketing

11.   Ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, detail-oriented environment

12.   Limited travel required
