Manager of Market Risk recruitment
The Energy Market Credit Risk (EMCR) team is responsible for continually improving the risk control framework and providing clear, accurate and insightful risk reporting and analysis across EDF Energy in order to remain compliant with policies and to support and challenge business decisions.
The Manager of Market Risk requires significant experience and a deep understanding of energy market risks, the trading lifecycle and the practical implementation of risk indicator methodologies. Strong commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills are essential as the role has a wide impact across the business at all levels and the postholder will be expected to deputise in the absence of the Head of EMCR.
The Manager will also lead, motivate and develop a team of highly skilled Analysts and ensure that all operational activity is managed effectively and efficiently. Therefore strong management skills are critical to the success of this role.
