Manager, Portfolio Analytics – Risk Management Department
22 month contract.
Location: Dublin
This newly created role within the bank has been set up to provide assistance to the Head of Portfolio Analytics. You will be required to work alongside and report to the Head of the Department to ensure all risks are identified and highlighted immediately. You will be a pivotal element of the banks present and future with your swift response to potential risks and threats.
The role
- Develop the banks risk awareness at both group and segment level.
- Support the delivery of the banks Material Risk Assessment as part of Annual Financial Planning process and the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP).
- Add to the continued development of the Risk-Based Pricing framework.
- Assist with the production of the Chief Risk Officers report on a monthly basis.
- Create Risk reporting processes that are forward thinking and dynamic.
- Have external environment awareness ad always have the ability to notice any potential risks or threats.
The Candidate will also be required to demonstrate the following:
- Risk Measurement: A thorough understanding of the bank's business, portfolio and activities, and the risks therein. Confidence in dealing with advanced quantitative risk management methodologies and techniques without necessarily being a practitioner (quant) in such techniques.
- Communication Influence: Outstanding written and oral communication skills. An ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise way and in a constructive and positive manner to so as to influence others.
- Problem Solving Decision-Making: Identifying and analysing issues and problems, developing solutions and using judgement to identify themes and connections, and to make sound recommendations.
- Commitment: Dedicated, resilient, taking prompt action to deliver results and to respond resourcefully to opportunities and challenges.
- Strategic Thinking Commercial Acumen: Harness resources to deliver longer term goals, manages resistance and setbacks as they arise.

Requirements
- Risk experience in within the Banking industry at a managers level
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Have a quantitative and analytical approach
- Relevant Degree / Masters
- Professional qualification would be looked upon favourably
- Ability to use own initiative
Salary will be at Market Rate and in accordance with experience and education.
