Manager, Process Improvement Job in Los Angeles 90038, California US

This position is responsible for the accounting close and financial reporting process transformation and ongoing process improvement initiatives with the use of Lean Six Sigma subject matter expertise.  The BPI manager must research and address problems, challenges, and identify potential opportunities and system solutions to improve identified processes, and flow of financial data through multiple systems and oversee both process improvement projects and projects focused on increasing automation.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
* Gather and define processes, policies and operations through research and interviews to critically analyze current business process though use of analytical skills
* Develop and implement processes with effective cost-savings, standardization, and increased internal controls opportunities within multiple business units to align with overall Paramount Corporate business strategy and vision.
* Assist and support the development of standardized work flows, instructions, and procedures
* Facilitate decision making, target setting, result expectations and prioritization of improvement efforts
* Coach and develop employees in project management methodologies and process improvement strategies
* Author and present business strategy/recommendation documents based on results from analysis with management for improvements and remediation as a result of project findings, in formal report form
* Works closely with the VP and Director of WW Compliance and Controls to perform business process analysis and ensure implementations conform to SOX, Viacom and other compliance requirements.
* Perform various projects such as research, special projects and statistical analysis as needed
