POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager, Process Solutions delivers strategic business improvement by leading operational/process improvement projects across Wealth Management business lines. This role will be responsible for working directly with various business lines to identify, define, assess and implement operational improvement initiatives. The team is focused on continually delivering value to the businesses by applying a consultative approach and leveraging best practices across Wealth Management.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Plan and deliver strategic business improvement projects for Wealth Management business lines. Lead multiple initiatives within a Process Solutions project portfolio;
- Work with the Wealth Management Business Solutions (WMBS) team to resolve highly complex, multi-faceted operational problems, with a specific focus on creating tangible / measurable operational efficiencies through the application of business, financial, and process improvement knowledge;
- Deliver projects focused on cost reduction strategy, operations efficiency or effectiveness, process optimization and operating model design;
- Work in a collaborative the business, analyzing and diagnosing client issues
- Interviewing key personnel to understand current state, issues and opportunities for improvement
- Analyze and diagnose client business issues to develop and recommend creative solutions;
- Lead the assessment, quantification and prioritization of strategic and tactical opportunities to maximize business impact;
- Recommendations, business case and presentation development for business review and executive decision making;
- Support the business through the execution and implementation of recommendations, as well change management
- Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external operations, technology teams, business partners and industry peers in order to influence business decision-making, keep abreast of industry developments and competitive intelligence;
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years experience with a financial institution with 2 years of progressively responsible operations improvement experience and a working knowledge of financial and securities operations;
- Demonstrated record of achievement and thought leadership within a business operations and project management environment
- University degree, MBA, Six Sigma and/or PMP Certification all considered strong assets
