Manager- Product Management recruitment
This position provides strategic business focus and product development to new and existing cross-asset research offerings within SP CapitalIQ. The candidate that fills the position will drive penetration of existing product offerings, assist in creating product strategies aligned with the wealth management business strategy, and manage the product lifecycle from idea to execution and maintenance of the product set.
Responsibilities include,
- Product Management- understanding Customer usage and market trends, and translating that intelligence to product enhancements and/or new product development . Also, working with cross-functional teams to build cross-asset research solutions
- Product Strategy and Innovation- includes developing clear and compelling product roadmaps and strategies, product performance analysis, assisting and presenting the business case for potential products or product extensions, and partnering across the organization on innovation projects- from conception to launch.
- Product Support- Establishing operating guidelines and monitoring/reporting on product performance and customer penetration.
- Marketing/Sales Support- Working with Marketing Sales teams to articulate product value proposition. Participate in sales call to help create and deliver training/certification materials
- Business Planning- Assist in the development and execution of product strategic priorities and business objectives.
Skills
- Knowledge of investment or wealth management business. Familiarity with fundamental research and quantitative models a plus
- 5+ years of product development / marketing experience.
- Proven success in product ownership.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, managing multiple product lines
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer focused mindset.
- Bachelors required.
