JOB SUMMARY:
This position oversees the implementation of and provides operational oversight for select clinical programs with significant process and/or system integration requirements, including both internal and contracted vendor programs. Key accountabilities include:
Internal programs
- Support business owners with implementation planning and execution

- Oversee vendor adherence to contract terms
- Oversee the development and maintenance of

Oversee the evaluation and continuous improvement of operational efficiency and program quality and provide stewardship of a consistent and integrated customer experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and oversee business implementation activities and processes
- Oversee operational performance of and any related improvement plans for select health management vendors
- Oversee the assembling and coordination of project teams, developing and implementing project plans and ensuring that key initiative goals are achieved within the required timeframe and consistent with leadership expectations.
- Oversee the end-to-end integration of new initiatives and programs from development through customer-facing information
- Act as a liaison to key partner departments including IT, Sales, Network Management and Product.
- Evaluating HPHC customer experience including members, providers and purchasers and developing plans to ensure a consistent and integrated customer experience
- Inspire and motivate staff to deliver exceptional results
- Hire, supervise, coach, mentor, recognize and reward staff. Ensure staff has tools, skills, and knowledge to perform job functions. Oversee training of new and existing staff.
- Manage the Performance Management Process for direct reports through overseeing performance appraisals and plans
- Foster a work environment that is responsive and sensitive to the needs of a diverse staff and membership.
- Act as a resource for colleagues, providing leadership and mentoring.
REQUIREMENTS
- Clinical degree preferred with Masters degree in same or related area (e.g. business administration, healthcare administration)
- Health plan experience preferred
- At least 7 years of management experience including supervision, leadership, coaching, and development of staff
- Superior program development, project management and process management skills
- Superior analytic and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work and operate under tight deadlines
- Results oriented with a proven track record of delivering results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
