The South Australian Government Radio Network (SAGRN) is one of the largest integrated public safety radio communications networks in the world. It forms part of the critical communications infrastructure supporting the state’s police, ambulance and emergency services.
The SA Government has committed over $150m to upgrade the SAGRN to ensure it meets the growing expectations and needs of the state’s essential services well into the next decade.
The Manager Project Delivery is responsible for driving the overall strategy and implementation phases of this major initiative. It requires the leadership of a core project team of government agency representatives, contractors and independent advisors.
The successful candidate will have superior communication skills and the technical and business sense to deal with complexity, ambiguity and multiple priorities. The ability to manage and lead in a dynamic and challenging environment, combined with drive, initiative and a focus on achieving outcomes is essential.
Prior experience managing large, high profile projects and an ability to contribute at both strategic and operational levels is highly desirable. Experience in radio communications technology or government radio networks will also be strongly viewed.
