Operations Data Analyst, Salary: £26k pro rata (6 months fixed term), Location: Watford
Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading energy company in Watford as an Operations Data Analyst. The Operations Analyst primarily ensures the accuracy of meter and site information within the system, by comparing different data sources, as well as validating transportation invoices and dealing with system queries.
You will be responsible for:
• Devising process to reconcile data held for portfolio by system to what is reported by other industry bodies
• Nominating CSEP supply points and calculating transportation costs.
• Monitoring the performance of the daily read meters.
• Validating the monthly transportation invoices and designing a system to automate validation.
• Investigate and resolve arising data issues
• Investigate and resolve potential imbalances on gas charges.
• Validating charges for Automatic Meter Readers and ensuring charges are passed on where applicable.
• Liaising with Customer Services members to successfully resolve queries
• Query management
• Produce reports as requested
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by management
Skills and Experience Required
- Knowledge of the gas industry, meter reading and meter assets.
- Analytical and Meticulous
- Excellent Excel Skills
- Ability to prioritise and understand deadlines
- Degree or Equivalent
- Excel - excellent
- V-lookups, Sumif, sorting large quantity of data
- Word - good
