Manager, Risk Management & Compliance (Trustee) recruitment

Principal Accountabilities:
As a Risk Compliance Officer, you will assist on all matters related to risk management compliance that may affect Private Wealth Solutions (HSBC Trustee). You will achieve the above through the following:
- Provide guidance to line management in running an efficient and profitable trustee business without violating legal or regulatory requirements
- Facilitate the management of compliance risk by those responsible for the conduct of the business in HSBC Trustee
- Ensure compliance with the HSBC Group’s business principles and values and the spirit and the letter of all laws, codes, rules and regulations in Singapore and wherever HSBC Trustee, Singapore conducts its business
- Manage operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation, control, monitoring, loss identification and reporting
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring
Skills/Attributes:
- Degree in Accountancy/Banking Finance or related discipline, with 4 - 8 years of working experience, preferably with Audit background
- Trust knowledge is a plus
- Candidates with directly relevant Risk or Compliance experience will be prioritized
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact and manage stakeholders at all levels
