Job Position - Manager, Solutions Development (Delaware, Ohio)

Job Duties - Responsible for: the analysis, design, development and testing of Greif  ERP and other related business solutions; resource management; budget oversight; timelines and scope management; and achieving successful outcomes. Coordinate cataloguing and documentation of current, relevant business processes and related functional specifications essential to solution development through interviews, document reviews, and workflow analysis. Facilitate, coordinate, monitor and analyze outcomes related to business process automation, test development scenarios, and test executions. Ensure the establishment of documentation needed to configure, operate, and monitor developed solutions. Assist in developing training materials, through various delivery methods, to allow end users to leverage the new ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) and other solutions. Ensure adherence to common guiding principles, established standards and policies to provide Greif businesses with scalable platform supporting business agility and growth. Manage, mentor and develop Solution Development team to ensure quality and consistency of developed solutions. Maintain open communication with regions and LOBs about core ERP LN model standards, updates, and enhancements, localization requirements, language needs, etc. Liaison with development partners achieving effective and efficient resource utilization, harmonized solution implementation while addressing local statutory requirements. Develop project budgets to ensure adherence to overall IT budget. Develop and implement quality control standards/procedures. Regularly communicate key project statuses to IT Services PMO and project stakeholders, ensure project stakeholder involvement in project oversight and key decision making. Responsible for maintaining suitable IT Controls and Change Management processes in line with Greif IT Policies to meet the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley act Section 404.

Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Information Technology and  5 years of experience as an Application Support Analyst, Systems Analyst, Application Architect, Solution Architect, or in a related position. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience in: 5 years business function experience eg: accounting, operations, or supply chain; 5 years working with Baan/ ERP LN Solutions Design; project management; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project; implementation of Baan / ERP LN System; and business process re-engineering.
