Siebel Implementation Project Manager Job in City Of London, London UK

Project Manager with Siebel experience need to oversee a huge Siebel implementation at a dynamic, well-established company.

The main purpose of this role is to deliver change by means of business solutions or enhancements to meet customer needs. This role is responsible for agreeing and achieving scope, cost, timescales and quality of these business solutions.

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

o the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring successful delivery to budget, time and quality
o ensuring projects are delivered in accordance to the Project Management Office / Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
o producing project estimates and supporting the annual budgeting process
o producing the definition, documentation and execution of projects, directing and supporting project team members and advising customers / users as necessary on all stages/phases of the project lifecycle
o agreeing deliverables, statement of works (SOW), work packages or contract to supply services or products with vendors and internal resources
o requesting appropriate resources in line with internal procedures monitor and control these associated operational costs and all capital costs against the project budget
o ensuring supplier resources are made available and resolving supplier requirements and priority conflicts
o briefing non technical/specialist management on supplier aspects of the project
o identifying and plan for future resources for the project or interrelated projects resolving competing demands for resources at a team level
o agreeing delegation and use of project assurance roles required by Business Sponsor
o managing the business and project risks, including the development of contingency plans
o liaising with programme management where the project is part of a programme or portfolio of change
o liaising with related projects to ensure work is not duplicated or overlooked
o change control and any required configuration management
o reporting to the Project Sponsor via Project Progress Reports
o agreeing technical and quality strategy with business users/solution providers (suppliers)
o identifying and obtaining any support and advice required for the management, planning and control of the project
o project administration and communication
o closing down a completed project - preparing end project report, lessons learned report, setting terms of reference for post implementation review
