GRG is at the leading edge of a wider rescue culture and is a major contributor to the bottom line of the RBS Group. We work closely with stressed trading businesses to restructure their debt and help restore them to health. GRG also has a major role to play in reducing the Group’s non-core property exposures and re-building the strength of the UBG Balance sheet.

We are looking for a Manager Special Interest Group (SIG) – Recoveries. In this role, you will advise GRG Relationship Managers on taking all types of upside instruments in quoted and unquoted companies that have been transferred to GRG, the area of the bank that deals in managing the loan portfolio. Analyse pricing of mezzanine or equity positions and subsequently negotiate and document appropriate upside instruments to include, inter alia, equity stakes and Property Participation Fee Agreements and other upside agreements that are not part of our traditional lending suite
