Manager – Treasury Sales & Marketing recruitment
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the internal communication process with Relationship Management and other internal business functions, acting as focal point for all product desks. In conjunction with the Treasury Ambassador, drive regular contact and prepare all meeting agendas with emphasis on joint calling initiatives.
- Manage Sales Marketing pipelines, covering expected client transaction activity new products under development respectively. Ensure all information is accurate up to date is consistent with information being communicated to Relationship Managers other internal business functions.
- Contribute to the promotion of the Treasury brand and footprint through organisation of client seminars and other activities demonstrating the Bank's growing capabilities. Identify, obtain approval for and implement all client entertainment activity.
- Manage the client sales process including all aspects of call reporting, meeting schedules, follow up of Action Items and sharing of information with Relationship Management and other internal business functions.
- Compile all internal performance reports detailing progress v PnL budget, notable deals executed, transactions missed and all other qualitative initiatives being taken to improve processes and people management.
- In conjunction with the Product Development Structuring Desk, track all new products developed and shown to the client base, acting as the co-ordination point for qualitative feedback where available to improve product focus. Design and conduct client surveys to improve understanding of client demand dynamics.
- Monitor the progress of all legal documentation (including ISDA CSA) and follow up with relevant internal departments (Risk Management Unit, Credit, Operations etc.) to minimise negotiation timeframes. Maintain a documentation database for easy reference to inventory.
- Manage all communication channels, including presentation materials used as a contributor to the brand building process, website content and all promotional, advertising and marketing material in conjunction with the relevant internal departments.
- Liaise with Risk Management Unit to track all revenue generated and manage the split with other businesses. Monitor intra month PnL and document large transactions. Drive a quarterly review of PnL v budget and co-ordinate the action required to address negative variance.
- Monitor all client credit limits applied for from Treasury and follow up with the relevant department as necessary. Manage a database of Treasury limits, synchronised with Credit and Treasury Operations to ensure that it remains current with all new approvals.
- Consolidate and actively manage the Treasury client contact database across all desks and ensure that market updates and other research is sent to the widest possible relevant audience and followed up where necessary.
- Drive the internal education process, including set-up of regular Market Updates by telephone (in conjunction with the Structuring Desk), briefing sessions on new product initiatives and other steps taken to promote Treasury capabilitioes internally.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Frequency and quality of contact with internal business functions.
- Client database leverage.
- Output from sales process management and extent of feedback delivered back into the process to improve outcomes.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- School (O and A levels).
