Manager, Treasury Sales recruitment

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the marketing process of all treasury products to corporate, retail and HNW individuals. The incumbent will oversee the process of generating profitable Treasury product sales from the targeted segments and in creating potential for the bank as a whole leverage additional benefit from these sales. Key responsibilities include:

-contribute towards formulation of strategy, annual business plans of the dept, to support divisional and organizational business strategy.

- ensure that Treasury Sales depts. Business strategies are in line with the Bank’s vision, mission and strategy.

- ensure that the Treasury Sales processes within the bank are operating effectively and efficiently.

-  develop and enhance contacts with governmental / quasi-governmental institutions, large corporate and other target markets.

- identify and pursue Treasury related business and inform customers of the types and features of Shariah-compliant Treasury products introduced by the bank.

- coordinate with top tier banks for limits and assistance in structuring / pricing, in coordination with the trading desks and financer functions of other financial institutions.

- maintain a well motivated, well trained, focused Treasury Sales team.

- collating MIS pertaining to profitability / revenue and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

- coordinate with the investment banking team to identify Treasury corporate needs.

Skills / experience required:

- A University Business related degree with specialization in Banking / Finance / Maths / Economics.

- Professional certificate such as the CPA / CA / CFA or IFQ is preferable.

- Fluency in Arabic amd English is MANDATORY.

- About 10 – 12 years related experience, 3-6 years within Treasury Sales.

- Solid financial services experience within the GCC, Islamic banking experience is advantageous.
