We are seeking a Principal DSP Algorithm Developer with timing/clocking experience for our Ottawa based client.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop and verify algorithms for mixed signal timing and synchronization ICs/clocking products
- Modeling and Simulation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or better in EE
- 10+ years of industry experience developing DSP algorithms
- Proven track record of innovation, having delivered novel algorithms and architectures
- Solid modeling and simulation experience using(Matlab or Simulink) and/or C/C++
- Working knowledge of digital signal processing techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
DESIRABLE/ASSETS:
- MS or PhD in EE
- Knowledge of packet networks and synchronization, or in particular, knowledge of packet filtering, clock recovery and generation would be a significant asset
- Knowledge or Experience with IEEE 1588 standards, Synchronous Ethernet applications
- Understanding/ability to make trade-off decisions regarding system and architecture
