Manager, Underwriter (Life & Health) recruitment
• Develop and implement company’s underwriting policy and principles and ensure risks assumed are within an acceptable range
• Deliver underwriting services to clients and develop business through consulting and relationship
Review of underwriting guidelines and product provisions
• Provide input to tenders and product development
• Communicate with and train clients on underwriting guidelines
• Participate in projects of product development and company wide products in relation to underwriting
Requirements
• A University Graduate (candidates with a post graduate is highly preferred) with at least 5 years of Life Health insurance/ underwriting experience for HK market
• Confident personality with the ability to partner with Business
• Broad range of product exposure in life health insurance or re/insurance
• Strong analytical, problem solving and sound organizational skills
• Meticulous, mature and independent team player
• Outstanding English writing skills is required
• Excellent presentation, succinct interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English and Cantonese is a must; mandarin is good to have
• Candidates with a solid analytical background (either gained from FI credit analysis or research) for Insurance (life health) portfolio will also be considered
