Currently we are looking to secure an impressive Financial Services strategy specialist to take on the role of Manager, Wealth Strategy within the ANZ Wealth Group.
As Manager, Wealth Strategy you will be supporting the MD Wealth, GM Strategy Marketing and the Wealth Leadership Team in leading the development of ANZ Wealth's strategy and management of key strategic issues to build strategy capability and achieve longer term growth and profitability ambitions.
In more detail this will include:
- Lead the development of Wealth's overarching strategy, developing and driving key strategic reviews and direction for Wealth and developing new market/business opportunities, e.g. super regional.
- Deliver insights and market/competitor analysis to support strategic decisions and key strategy presentations to internal and external stakeholders, e.g. analysts, management boards etc.
- Initiate strategic reviews on topics for Wealth on brief from the MD and GM, Strategy Marketing and engage in strategic reviews for Wealth businesses, as briefed by the business unit GM's.
- Manage the strategic customer segmentation framework for the business and develop a strategic value proposition for key segments.
- Actively drive a customer centric agenda across Wealth - working with business stakeholders and key enablers to reposition the business to think in terms of customer segments not just products.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with the divisional/business unit heads/external consultants to proactively identify key issues, leverage opportunities and solutions, and influence/direct desired outcomes.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will need the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in a business or related discipline
- Successful track record in strategy roles, either in a corporate strategy function or consulting firm
- Broad knowledge and understanding of the financial services and/or Wealth management industry
- Proactive and innovative with strong analytical skills and business acumen Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries, instil confidence and maintain and build strong customer relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate complex issues succinctly, and excellent PowerPoint /presentation skills
