Manager,Regulatory Reporting recruitment

Job Description

You will carry out regulatory reporting activities and meet expected delivery standards. You are also expected to identify and drive improvement initiatives; as well as get involved and deliver successfully in several project initiatives.

Key Roles Responsibilities

-Manage deliverables pertaining to MAS regulatory reporting
-Work closely with the shared services team (FSSC) to deliver timely accurate reports
-Review submissions to MAS and ensure robust controls
-Perform logical checks on information reported and provide in depth variance analysis
-Handle and effectively close queries raised by the regulator and senior management
-Lead and close improvement initiatives with motive to enhance data quality and improve operational efficiency
-Review new business propositions in context of compliance with regulatory requirements, internal metrics and capability to meet reporting requirements
-Work closely with cross functional teams and deliver effectively in system implementation and data quality improvement projects

Qualifications Skills

-Accounting Major or Equivalent
-Several years' experience in financial services industry
-Self starter with lot of initiative
-Excellent Communication skills
Good problem solving skills with ability to trouble shoot effectively when situation demands
Prior experience in improvement initiatives and projects
Eye for detail and adherence to information integrity is essential
Openness in approach and ability to think out of the box
Knowledge of MAS regulations and reporting requirements would be an added advantage
