Goodman Masson is working with this client to build their conduct of business regulatory advisory team. The team is responsible for:

The team require an expert on conduct of business regulatory issues, with significant experience of COBS and the prior similar rules. This experience will have been gained either from a banking compliance function, or from a similar role within another consulting firm. The role will involve undertaking shadow Section 166/Section 166 reviews, along with design, review and remediation work based on individual COBS rule requirements. CASS rule expertise and experience would also be useful. The successful individual must be able to translate their expert knowledge into clear, action orientated client support.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate proven experience of working in a bank, investment bank or stockbroking compliance department, of the conduct risk department of the regulator.

In addition, candidates must have the ability to work under own initiative and in many different and challenging environments, with strong presentation, business writing and professional standards;. You must possess a client centric, flexible and client service orientated approach; and have strong people management skills and experience of/enthusiasm for developing and managing a team of professional staff.
