UAE – Private Equity

A leading Sovereign Wealth Fund based in the United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced Private or Public-listed Equity Associate to join their team at a Senior level.
The firm operate on a Principal and Direct investment basis and is based upon around $33 Billion of ceded and growth capital which is shared between Equities and Private Equity.
Experience in the Middle East is not essential, but a minimum of 4 years on the buyside within Hedge Funds or Private Equity is essential.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:

- You will be leading the Associate due diligence and research of investments, so strong initiative and leadership skills are important
- Dealing with Investments of acquisitions and growth based around the Middle Eastern and North African regions
- You will be making decisions upon important transcations and investments within the Sovereign Wealth Fund?s Middle Eastern Private Equity space,

Responsibilities of the role will therefore include high exposure to live deals and transactions, so candidates must be driven and focused to achieve their goals. Arabic speaking is not completely necessary as the Private Equity deals will be formed in English; however, this is discretionary to each candidate.

The right candidate will have:

- 4-8 years of experience in a Asset Manager?s, Private Equity firm or Direct Investment firm
- Strong knowledge of the Middle Eastern and North African regions
- Portfolio Management experience will be welcomed
- A very stong academic University education

This is ideal for any strong Buyside candidate to join a top Sovereign Wealth Fund based in the Middle East, as the fund continues to grow in stature and capital.
Current MA Analysts need not apply - this mandate is strictly for those with Hedge Funds or Private Equity experience.
