- Manages a team focused on a vertical market to maximize sales revenue meet corporate objectives.
- Responsible for a all PBBI sales into the Retail vertical market
- Directs professional account management activities, provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff's productivity.
- Assists sales reps with questions and issues arising during the final discussions of major account sales and negotiate sales price and discounts.
- Establishes manages seminars, meetings, training etc. to address the sales growth to base, sales of emerging solution sales, proactive competitive strategies targeted sales campaigns, business/financial issues impacting the team.
- Participates with Sr. Sales Management in developing business strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management.
- 9-12 years of experience in selling complex enterprise software solutions
- Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in sales management.
- Must have experience selling complex enterprise software solutions to retailers.
- Must have a demonstrated track record of long term strategic relationships with customers.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and experience negotiating 7-figure multi-year contracts is required.
- Must be able to travel up to 40-60%, including overnight travel.
