Managing Director – Investment Banking recruitment
You will be an industry veteran, a Director or Managing Director of a leading Investment Bank and be responsible for the scalability of our client's business globally. You will have complete PL responsibility and head business operations for the bank including business development, process management and execution of all the transactions in the pipeline. You will utilize your strong and well entrenched relationships with corporates in India to win new business. You will be a key strategic member of the management team, and will shape the growth and structure of the team going forward in conjunction with the global strategic alliance that the bank already has in place. You will continue to build the advisory team in India and play a critical role in expanding the specialist teams in the coming years.
The Successful Applicant
You will be an experienced and seasoned Investment Banker with between 12 and 15 years in the industry either in a bulge bracket Investment Bank, Indian Investment Bank or Big 4. You have a proven track record of building an Investment Bank as a strategic leader. You should be able to demonstrate your ability to be a key external and internal influencer. Our client's culture is entrepreneurial and we welcome candidates who are enthusiastic and go getters and who have already identified sectors or markets from an MA perspective. You will be outstanding at managing transactions and people (colleagues as well as clients) and have had exposure to a range of products including MA, corporate restructuring, valuations, debt and private equity. Prior international experience is welcome although not essential. Prior cross border transaction experience is a plus. You must be someone who can hit the ground running and leverage relationships built over the years.
