Managing Director-Miami
The role will also be accountable to drive sales, manage and lead an efficient, effective and profitable operation.
The position entails ensuring that international tax-reporting of structures and services adhere to statutory/regulatory guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for achieving entity objectives, preparing business plans and budgets.
- Provides commercial leadership with respect to all the marketing and sales activities in order to achieve the sales and revenue targets with a cross-cultural team approach
- Develops, expands and maintains multiple, solid relationships with clients and intermediaries
- Deliver a consistent engagement model across relevant markets for Amicorp’s products and services
- Meets or exceeds sales target by proactively ensuring closure of prospects. Drafts client proposals and closes the sale in accordance with company policies and guidelines to ensure business growth.
- Marketing Amicorp’s products in consultation with Amicorp’s Senior Management and/or Group Officers.
- Overall alignment, management and control of operational processes and procedures, with a view to continuously improve and ensure consistent levels of efficiency, accuracy and high quality of service.
- Communicating effectively with and advising employees, clients and other stakeholders on corporate and trust management related matters.
- Set objectives, business plans and operational budgets for the branch office in line with overall Group goals; and ensuring to achieve the same
Skills / Industry Qualifications Required
- University degree in business, accounting and/or law
- Experience in senior management positions in financial services industry
- Experience in managing an office or group of employees
- Experienced in business sales with a proven ability to penetrate the required market and ensure closure of sales.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal and English communication skills and additional languages preferred,
- Past experience of operating in an entrepreneurial and self-starter environment would be an advantage.
- Exposure to service oriented businesses, particularly financial services.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of operational efficiency issues and quality management and control matters
- Good understanding of key financial services-related legislation
- Willing to travel.
