MANUFACTURING DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR
LEWCO, Inc., a world class industrial equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Department Supervisor. LEWCO, Inc. designs and manufactures conveyor and process heating equipment for a variety of industries.
Prefer candidates with Bachelor's Degree or equivalent direct education from two-year college or technical school. Must have at least 3 yrs related experience in manufacturing supervision. Must be able to read blue prints and understand geometric tolerances. Prefer Lean Mfg experience.
Position requires ability to lead a department in the continuous improvement phases of plant management. Must be able to schedule and coordinate flow of work within the assigned Manufacturing Department using Lean Manufacturing techniques. Person will handle day to day employee issues within the department assigned. Ensures department meets daily objectives in terms of safety, quality, on time delivery of job orders, accurate employee documentation of work completed, physical inventory, and costs.
