Manufacturing Engineer II

Good knowledge of PCB assembly and ability to maintain multiple projects and respond quickly and decisively to production support request.

Develop PCBA process and assembly instructions and documentation to support product released to manufacturing for both ROHS and non-ROHS processes.

Maintain and update documents changes per customer and internal changes.

Facilitate new product introduction and conduct sustaining engineering functions for SMT, Thru-hole, Box build, and Cable assemblies.

Determine process requirements, assembly tooling, equipment and training requirements. Perform ROI and cost justifications when necessary.

Perform time, efficiency and process studies and recommend solutions for improvement of PCB assemblies.

Streamlining manufacturing processes, procedures, DFT work instructions to improve first pass yield, eliminate rework and scrap.

Interface with customers, vendors, production, program managers, materials and quality to resolve engineering and production issues.

Handle multiple projects and priorities in a teamwork environment and perform job functions in a timely manner.

College degree
2-5 Years Experience
PC (Data Works, Windows, Word, Excel, Micrographics Designer, Photo Tools, Access (Track Database))
Aerigs and Navision Experience a Plus.
