Manufacturing Engineer Job in Berlin 06037, Connecticut US
Cambridge Specialty Company, Inc., a progressive rapidly growing AS9100 aerospace manufacturer of critical components and complex assemblies is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer. This position is responsible for working as part of the manufacturing team to ensure production goals are met.
Responsibilities:
-Work with operators to develop new tools/fixtures to assist in the production process.
-Troubleshooting moderately complex assembly processes.
-Creation of all operating instructions used in the manufacturing process.
-Work with vendors and resolve problems.
-Work with engineering and quality to resolve product and process related issues.
Education/Experience:
-Four year degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
-One year of experience in manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
-Experience in machine tools, machine/tool design, production methods, tool standards and tool fabrication is desirable.
-Experience in Solid Works (preferably), or 3D modeling program.
-Strong knowledge of GDT, in addition to drafting to latest standards.
