Manufacturing Engineer Job in Blessington, Wicklow Ireland

The successful candidate will act as a key part of the Engineering team with involvement in a wide range of projects, analysing customer problems, creating, implementing testing solutions while getting exposure to customer relationship management, costing, supplier interaction, RD etc…
Duties and responsibilities will include:
· Involvement in the design, drawing, specification and pricing of new product
· Documentation of projects, customer requests
· Support production during the development and introduction of new products and the reengineering of existing products
· Ensure that procedures and documents for production are current and that any follow-up actions or improvements are documented and completed
· Working in collaboration with production to identify improvements in the work area continually reviewing and revising work processes to ensure that they are simple and lean
· Work on developmental projects including the sourcing and test of new materials
· Document and implement improvements identified
· Involvement in the measurement of quality ensuring that in-house or external quality issues are effectively prioritized and acted upon in a timely manner. Complete root cause analysis of non-conformances and the implement and document corrective actions
