1. This position ensures safety remains the primary focus of all activities and projects under his/her control.
2. This position assures coordination of diverse groups and departments while carrying out these projects including: plant, manufacturing, purchasing, IST, safety, environmental and engineering.
3. The jobholder acts as focal point for the preparation of program and project budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
4. Prepares summary reports of manufacturing activities.
5. Collaborates with plants on OAU improvement initiatives.
6. Partners with finance to conduct financial analysis of key projects.
7. Leads the implementation of projects in accordance with scopes, budgets, and schedules.
8. Montitors program standardsto ensure development compliance with corporate and applicable codes and regulations.
9. Develops and delivers program and project presentations and assures effective communication among all shareholders.
10. Integrates six-sigma methodology in to programs and projects including identifying Green Belt and Black Belt candidates.
11. As needed, acts as interim Plant Manager in the event of unforeseen openings at manufacturing sites.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Degree in engineering and 7+ years industrial experience.
- Extensive experience in process or production engineering, operations.
- A basic understanding of plant maintenance operations is required.
- Experience as direct report to Plant Manager or Process Technology Manager.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Demonstrated Strong financial analytical skills
- Experience managing people.
- Ability to travel approximately 35% of the time to South America, Latin America and United States.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
