Manufacturing Plant Accountant job in Liverpool
Our client is a European division of a large $1 billion turnover US global business.
They manufacture speciality chemicals that are used in a wide range of consumer and commercial products.
The site in Liverpool is one of the largest in the European Division (Turnover of around $70 million).
This pivotal role is the most senior Finance role on site. You will be responsible for ensuring that the local management team have accurate and up to date management information ranging from production costing(standard cost) to commercial review. Working to tight reporting deadlines, you will ensure that site performance is reported up to group and you will also lead the annual audit process.
The business will be implementing SAP in the near future and you will play a key role in this project.
We are looking for a qualified accountant with extensive manufacturing experience. You should have a strong understanding of standard costing and of manufacturing site reporting. You should also have knowledge of financial accounting and reporting.
Previous experience of using or implementing SAP or similar systems is advantageous.
