Manufacturing Specialist Senior
Role Synopsis A key role as Manufacturing Specialist within the IPS product Line Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Tasked with leading and coordinating the continuous improvement activities within the IPS business unit at Houston Technology Center. Will be responsible for the improvement of the order management process as well as establishing a standard portfolio of available product to meet customer demand. Provide weekly KPI ??s reports which will include $ value of product within specific phases of the product value stream. You will be interacting with multiple different teams, including but not limited to QA, Engineering and Geomarkets. Will be running multiple project specific tasks at any point in time. Will be expected to supervise in the absence of Business Unit Manager. Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree in any relevant field. 5% Travel required Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft project, Visio and other software applications. Good organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication. Will be expected to work overtime Desired/Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Six Sigma and/or Lean manufacturing practices.
