Requires the performing of all operations necessary to start, layout, form, fabricate, assemble, repair, hand finish, paint, process, degrease, heat treat, track and deliver a particular component, assembly and/or detail.

Requires the receiving, storing, distributing, moving, shipping, rigging, packaging, crating, and tracking parts, tools, chemical agents, and tooling supplies.

Requires the hand forming, fitting, assembly, and testing of parts.

Requires operation of heavy duty lifting equipment.

Management and handling of scrap and surplus materials.

Sets up and operates stationary and portable resistance welding machines.

Requires the making of sand molds, die punches and the precision and non-precision finishing of dies, machine parts, assemblies, and weldments.

Role will initially start as 1st shift and may transition to 2nd shift.

Requires a High School diploma or GED equivalent and manufacturing fabrication skills, specifically equipment operations, and 3+ years of experience as a mechanical/manufacturing assembler (aerospace preferred, but not required).

Must be able to work from sketches, templates,tools, blueprints, engineering documents.

Must apply high degree of manual dexterity. Must pass a valpar assessment to be eligible for consideration.

Must be knowledgeable of shop math including algebra and geometry.

Must have ability to use precision measuring equipment (scales, micrometers, calipers, etc.).

Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and apply thorough knowledge of safety practices and procedures.

Ability to work 1st and/or 2nd shift as business dictates.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to ITAR restrictions.
