An opportunity has arisen to join a superb rising star within the London Oil Consultancy space, with global reputation and client base over of 200 who are located in numerous countries worldwide.

The Role

The role sits within oil analytics team who specialises in the analysis and forecasting of short and long term developments in the international oil markets. We are looking for an individual who has experience within the refining (downstream) oil sector. The role will focus on producing insight and analysis for the refining / refinery section of the market including looking into supply and demand economics. The role is research based including qualitative market report writing and an individual with a strong numerate ability to add value to the team. Furthermore, the role will include engagement with key industry leaders and market experts and the opportunity to join a team providing strategic advice and bespoke solutions to the global market.

The Person

- A strong numerate degree ideally in Economics / Mathematics or similar from a top tier University is ESSENTIAL (MSc, MA, PhD or Equiv).

- An analytical mind set along with the quantitative and conceptual problem solving experience.

- Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.

- Experience of oil market research and analysis with a focus Refining / Oil Refineries (Downstream) is ideal.

-Strong Excel ability.
