Market Analyst Job in Cannock, Midlands Uk
Reporting to: Marketing Manager
The Role: To support sales development by providing accurate, fact-based market data and the necessary research to construct business cases
Briefly the role encompasses:
- Maintenance of databases of Market Information, including data relating to sales, customers, competitors
- Analysis of data to evaluate existing and potential product and service markets
- Preparation of business and market reports using company and external data including monthly KPI’s
- Providing analysis of sales activities and marketing campaigns
- Integrating market research information with the company system to develop new leads
- Develop databases and automated spreadsheets
Who we’re looking for:
- Proficiency in common software such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in basic database programming e.g. SQL
- Competent in using the web and web-based search tools to access market information
- Discretion in handling sensitive commercial data / information
- Detail oriented, articulate clearly, goal-oriented, exhibit a high level of professionalism, and be exceptionally organized
- Requires time management, critical thinking and problem solving skills to complete marketing research in a timely, precise manner
