Description
Manage daily workflow of a group of individual contributors. Assist lines of business in determining market data requirements. Review and monitor budget impacts, contract structures, and limitations. Provide a first line of vendor communications. Ensure vendor control, governance, and monitoring. Participate in contract negotiations and vendor analysis. Coach and mentor subordinates to ensure they are able to perform effectively. Manage an annual budget $250,000. Coordinate with VP on HR activities, such as hiring. Broad and in-depth understanding of market data vendor securities. Ability to effectively manage most customer relations matters that cannot be resolved at lower levels. Applies analysis and investigation skills to solve highly complex problems. Handles most problems that cannot be solved at lower levels. Coaches the team on problem solving. Ability to communicate highly complex ideas even when a moderate degree of controversy exists, particularly regarding individual and team performance. Coach others in the art of negotiation.

Qualifications
Bachelors in Business Administration or related field; Master s preferred. 10+ years industry and securities reference data experience. 3-5 years management experience. In depth knowledge of investment products. Experience with non-real time vendors.
