Team Description
The Structured Products team is a specialist area forming part of BNYM Asset Servicings Transfer Agency (TA) service offering. The Structured Products (SP) team exists to provide tailored support for our external SP clients and specialist product expertise across the internal organisation.

Job Purpose
Working as part of a team, build, develop and apply detailed product knowledge to support our SP clients day to day operation. Key focus on ensuring relevant functions are completed in accordance with company policies/procedures, client agreements and regulations is also vital.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Demonstrate the shared values of the organisation (Client Focus, Trust, Teamwork, Out performance)
Deliver consistent performance against all applicable targets and deadlines, partnering with others outside of the department to ensure quality service delivery
Be aware of the client perspective where appropriate for all value-added business activities
Build a basic understanding of the stages of the product launch and lifecycle through to maturity
As required, log, process, validate, track, produce and complete reports as needed and oversee SP processes and incidents in a timely manner, handling queries as appropriate.
Support improvements to controls, procedures and system developments as required
Ensure procedures are followed for department responsibilities, including Business Continuity Plans
Support and follow BNYM policies relating to Risk and Compliance, with specific emphasis on Client Money regulations, TCF and financial crime prevention responsibilities
Support internal and external monitoring activities as required
Self development; Keep up to date with corporate, regulatory and product requirements. Also analyse areas for development to discuss and agree self-development plans with line-management
Be prepared to work towards supporting and participating in client/prospect meetings, presentations and discussions regarding processes, procedures and general departmental practices

Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing
Quick to develop new skills and a pro-active approach to learning and self-development
Experience with the BNY Mellon systems advantageous
Relevant industry experience (Structured Product / Transfer Agency)
Flexible so that able to work either alone or as part of a team
Must be able to use initiative to obtain results and think laterally
To be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines whilst working under pressure
Knowledge sharing, support and train new/less experienced members of team as appropriate

Academic/Professional Qualifications (or equivalent qualifiers)
Maths and English to GCSE C Grade or above (essential)
Prepared to study for relevant industry qualifications
