Market Data Specialist recruitment
Due to recent announcements of market data fees to be introduced this year, this equities exchange is developing a new business.
Duties include:
- Working closely to the sales team to ensure clients are up to date with internal policies and procedures.
- Implement and define reporting structures with data vendors.
- Support and assist in building out a market data database of customer information.
- Assist in setting out the reporting requirements and translating them into a web portal application
- Maintain customer relationships, and internal contacts about implementing existing policies.
- Market Data compliance, monitoring of compliance with the policy requirements by customers
- Analysis of vedor submissions to identify variance from previous reports.
- Business developement.
Personal Profile:
- University educated or equivalent
- Good knowledge of working within a market data department at a regulated firm/ exchange
- Understanding of trading techniques and techology (advantagous)
- In-depth understanding of the market data industry and practices.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Understanding of the audit function in the market data context
- customer service skills
- Understanding of UK and EU regulatory regime
- Problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Work well within a team.
