Market Making Development Lead (VP/Director) – Investment Bank recruitment
Responsibilities Requirements:
• Server side development and focus on a combination of business-facing derivatives RFQ projects, core global Java infrastructure, and advanced dynamic language extensions to the core platform to deliver rapid solutions to the desk
• Experience with messaging systems, performance intensive problem domains, multithreading and multiprocessing in mission critical distributed server systems is a must
• Exceptionally strong hands-on Java, track record leading technical teams
• Experience of working in equity options (ideally) or equity cash risk or front office trading application, also consider FX front office application candidate
• Experience with high performance, large-scale systems – e.g. grid systems like DataSynapse or GigaSpaces
• Min.10 - 12 years experience working within the financial/investment banking industry
• Experience of team-buildin, particularly managing remote teams
• Must have FIX exchange connectivity experience
• Tuning for low-latency Java
• E-trading electronic risk management background
