A global quant fund and trading house has continued to expand their traded products and market coverage. This has driven demand for experienced market risk managers to use combinations of technology and advanced quantitative analysis to model, monitor and manage trades across all financial derivatives, be it equity, index, credit, forex, commodities, fixed income and FX.
You must be a proactive person who will partner the business and work with the senior management teams located in several major cities globally. A major aspect of the role will be the continuous oversight and assessment of the positions and exposures being taken by the front office. The successful candidate must also ensure that the risks are being appropriately quantified and controlled by maintaining and developing risk analysis tools, metrics and limit structures. The development and implementation of a risk management framework designed to account for the sophisticated and highly volatile nature of derivatives trading will also form part of this role.

Others duties will also constitute market risk analytics (measuring, Greeks, stress testing), pricing and model validation, product control and valuations, PnL, trading strategies (patterns and trends) and development of risk management methodologies and processors.
Candidates will be short listed on the basis of years of experience, exposure to financial risk analytics, financial markets experience, (equity, credit and interest rates, FX), derivatives options pricing, credit and operational risk management as well as academic qualifications in applied mathematics, econometrics or quant related field.
