Marketing Analyst I
Job Description: Purpose Statement: This role is responsible for managing the high-quality execution of portions of projects that inform and drive critical business decisions or support marketing excellence at Boston Scientific. Will develop relations with business partners, perform creative analytics and research to help develop compelling recommendations, and provide excellent management of their portions of the project. Key Responsibilities: - Researches market and customer conditions to determine potential sales of products. - Leads data collection process by selecting and supervising vendors and ensuring that their services meet the company's product development and market research needs. - Performs data collection and analyses in the areas of product preferences, customer needs, market size, penetration, marketing practices and trends, potentials, sales coverage, and prepares forecasts and recommendations. - Gathers data on competitors and analyzes their prices, sales, and method of operation. - Gathers data on customerrsquo;s needs from primary and secondary sources including internal and external interviews, reports, surveys and data. - Prepares and gives presentations to management on matters concerning market research data and insights. - Develops relationships and professional network within Marketing Strategy Analysis and key marketing partners. - Assists Marketing Strategy Analysis managers in design, preparation, analysis, and presentation of market research findings. - Builds and manages key department processes to build and enhance best practices (e.g., budget, vendor tracking, research approval) - Organizes information to assist in analyzing future products and makes recommendations for the development of new products or services. - Updates databases regularly by entering new information to allow easy access to research information for marketing personnel and partners. Job Experience: Qualifications: - Undergraduate Bachelor's Degree required (preferably a degree in life sciences, engineering, business, economics, or market research / statistics) - 0-2 years of successful related business experience - Strong interest in healthcare or high technology - Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills - Strong willingness to learn Boston Scientific technology, products, therapies, and markets.
