Marketing and Client Service Associate

We have a diversified client base and manage equity and fixed income assets for public and private pension fund, Taft-Hartley, foundation, endowment, private clients and faith-based institutions. Our stable and well tenured investment team brings more than three decades of experience to our clients.

 

Job Responsibilities

The Marketing and Client Service Associate will be an integral part of the Marketing and Client Service efforts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Updating Marketing materials (Annual Disclosure, Fact sheets, consultant databases)

- Proof Reading and Fact Checking marketing materials and outgoing correspondence

- Marketing support (RFP’s and RFI’s, CRM updates, meeting notes, creating presentations, etc)

- Opening new accounts

- Compliance support (ADV, presentation review, etc)

- Running reports for client service and due diligence requests

- Distributing client communications

- Maintain records of presentations

- Proactively search websites for marketing news and opportunities

- Assistance fulfilling client service requests

- Professionally represent the firm in email or phone communication with clients

- Assistance with answering phones, and travel planning

- Assumes special project work and additional responsibilities as requested or assigned

 

Background:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work related experience

- Demonstrated interest in Marketing/Client Service in the investment management Industry

- 3-5 yrs experience in the investment management industry

- Series 65 license preferred (must be obtained within 180 days of initial employment)

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work well under pressure to manage multiple projects with varying priorities and

deadlines

- Skilled in Microsoft Office: specifically - Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

- Excellent attention to detail

- Team player

- Resourceful

- “Can do” attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic

- Strong interest in Large Cap Value Equities a plus

- High comfort level working directly with several members of senior management

- Self-starter
