Description

Provide support to the Mellon Capital Marketing Communications team and their support of the Distribution Team and the firm. This includes but is not strictly limited to daily building and producing standard and custom presentation books; updating and producing of marketing materials and collateral; audit file maintenance and metrics. He/she will support the marketing efforts of Mellon Capital and its affiliates through the daily creation and production of presentation books and the monthly/quarterly/annual updates of existing material. He/she will support the ongoing refinement and enhancement of existing material and the development of new materials required to support new products. This individual will also be responsible for staying current on technology applications and capabilities, financial market conditions and our business.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will possess a BA/BS degree. (Finance preferred) 1-3 years of related experience preferred. Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills required to communicate effectively with a broad range of audiences at all organizational levels; ability to work independently, prioritize deadlines, and deal effectively with time and deadline pressures; aptitude and interest in investments, the financial industry. Understand and analyze presentations applying critical thinking to ensure accuracy of deliverables. Willingness to analyze, innovate and improve work flow processes. She/he will have demonstrable proficiency of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity of various software programs, such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, and Visio. Team player with high professional standards and a positive attitude are essential.
